Airing of the Quilts
Ryde Centennial Free Methodist Church in Housey’s Rapids was the site of “The Airing of the Quilts” on August 16th, 2014. A collection of quilts from Ryde and beyond was shared by residents and those with Ryde connections. Musical accompaniment was provided by violin and piano, and backup rhythm section. A wonderful showing! Rug hooking and embroidery, too!
